Monitor shutting off when playing the game

I am having a problem with Field of Glory. The original game and the 1.03 patch seemed to work fine but when I downloaded the map pack my monitor would go into power saving mode when I started playing the game. I have purchased Rise of Rome and experienced the same problem. I've updated the drivers for my monitor and graphics card which did not help. I unistalled the game using the games unistaller and then reinstalled field of glory then rise of rome and it still did the same thing. I've gone through my system and made sure that power saving is off and that nothing should cause my monitor to shut down. This is the information about my computer

Sorry you are having problems but I can't think of anything that would effect this that has changed. It is likely related to an update to your computer. Do you ever get this happen in other games you run full screen since it started happening in FoG?

No I have not had any problems with any other games or programs that I run. I have had the computer on all day and have not had the issue happen it happens only after I have started FOG. I never had an issue when I had the original game or the 1.03 update. It seemed to happen when I downloaded the map pack but I'm not 100 percent sure on this. I have uninstalled the game using the game unistaller and am planning on installing the original version of the game then the 1.03 update then rise of rome if all goes good. If that does not resolve the issue I am not sure what to do after that. If anybody has any ideas I appreciate your input.
