Carthaginian and Greek transfers

I am thinking to order some transfers from Little Big Men Studios (LBM) and Veni Vidi Vici to decorate the shields of my Greek (xyston) and Campanian (Xyston and Old Glory) hoplites and my Carthaginian Spearmen (round shield from Corvus Belli). I have had no problems with Veni, Vidi, Vici, but Little Big Men are more colourful. I am wondering if someone has ordered LBM and can tell me how they fit those shields. I have already ordered Xyston Macedonian shields transfers from LBM and I have tried some of them in my Xyston Greek hoplites but they do not seem to fit perfectly. So my question: do you know if Old Glory transfers from LBM are much bigger or smaller than LBM Xyston's transfers? Which ones would be better for my Corvus Belli guys?

Simple solution:

Mail to Stephen and give him the sizes you need. He will -if necessary- rescale the decals so that they fit your shields.

Thank you! I did not know transfers could be customized and I was rather looking for compatibility. So I guess that is what you did to fit the Old Glory Numidian transfers into the Corvus Belli miniatures of your blog.

Fortunately these fit without rescaling. You won't get past painting the border of the shield anyway, sometimes you have to melt the decal into the color of the rest of the shield, especially because you should prime the shield with white color.

To get a decal that fits so that you cannot see ANY white isn't very likely.

First time I asked Stephen to rescale was when I tried to get decals for Xyston's Italians on Touller's Oscans.
They come in 6mm diameter I think and I needed 9mm. That was no problem.

Thanks! I have already asked and waiting for a reply, but anyway I should try painting around the shield so that they look better. I haven't thought about that before and it is almost a must in some cases.

I use LB transfer for my spartan army
they are very well
really if I can tell you transfer for xyston shield are a little small
LB's always better if you take the transfers for the shields of the old glory and use them on their shields xyston
are slightly larger than those specific for xyston

Thank you, Stefano, that was exactly what I was asking for! First had experience of other collectors helps a lot. I will try these Old Glory if I do not get a reply from the website, but I am even thinking in going for larger transfers and cutting if necessary.
