Thanks. Does that apply to all games or just the new and fixed scenarios (which are the latter btw).

It applies to all scenarios but the server would have forced you to grab previous patches with all our maps in. The only difference this time is that we have not made a code update in this patch as we are trying to finish up Rise of Rome. This means we cant force you to update before you log in!

The existing scenarios listed with revised OBs listed in the download area are:

Dertosa 215BC

My question is how will downloading and installing the map pack affect any ongoing games using either of these scenarios.

As a separate question, will the new scenarios included in the map pack cause a problem for users who already have a custom version of the scenario installed from before they were added to the pack?

So far I've only tried the Great Plains scenario and won comfortably as Carthage - who won in reality... or is it a fictional battle?

A little bit of feedback: There are a few typos in the descriptions of the battles, and the one designed by Ignacio Arrizabalaga has the suffix (AI) which probably should be (IA).

How do you issue a challenge & avoid acceptance by someone who has down dl this? I've already slipped up & got 3 games trapped this way as the opponent doesn't have the scenario d'loaded.

Unfortunately that isn't part of the system currently, but we are working on integrating that specific feature. For now we'll need to rely on people being a little savvy.

Thanks for the scenarios! I've been collecting many user made scenarios and it's nice to see them being made "official". Hope this is an indicator of the future. Thanks again.

I noticed a problem in the largest scenario, the one in Sicily between Pyrrhus and the Carthaginians. In the scenario description for Lilybaeum, it states that although Pyrrhus was outnumbered, his elite pike units still managed to rout the Carthaginians. However, in the actual scenario Pyrrhus has no elite units at all... every unit is average! Also, Carthage not only outnumbers you but also has some superior troops

In fairness, the scenario in question seems pretty well balanced, even with the Pyrrhics having only average pikes.
