C, X, Z keys

Post by moet »

I see in the manual (keyboard shortcuts page) that C, X and Z keys give certain pre-combat information.

I tried those keys but don't see any change on the secreen.

It is at the small white box near the enemy unit when you move your mouse over that unit during attack , so you know roughly what is your odd of winning

when press C - give a chart display , X - give the most details info , z - show a simple percentage of winning

Hope that help

I would like to see a default setting for displaying the detailed combat information.

Also, I would also like to see the map displayed the same way...i.e., Romans on the top of the screen, during computer vs. computer battles. Currently, I need to hit "R" each turn. This can be quite confusing.

In an attempt to learn the system, I have created four scenarios, and I am having some difficulty in matching up forces. I love history, but I don't have the DEPTH of historical knowledge that I feel I need to set up credible scenarios.

I mean, who were the friends of the Thracians?

I would very much like to see a simple time line of forces available for army creation, and second, a map with these forces displayed. Stickied.

This would go a tremendous way towards providing the necessary information for tinkerers, such as my humble self, to be able to develop a historical themed scenario.

I don't have any particular desire to have the English fight the Indians.

Failing the simple screenshot giving the map/timeline data, is there a web site that would easily provide this information? PLEASE don't tell me google. Heh heh.
