We have some great things to unveil including a three zone weather model that includes fair, mud, winter and severe winter with weather probabilities as a function of month. We have major updates to the map and unit graphics. And, we have so much more. And ... in addition to the 1939 scenario, we have updated scenarios for the 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943 and 1944 scenarios, which have historical OOBs. We're now call our mod CEaW - Grand Strategy Version 1.00. We're currently working with beta 17. All that's left, and I saw all kind of lightly, is the documentation and a little more playtesting. I'm just finishing up a 1943 scenario (Kursk) with Paul and I can tell you that if you want to just jump right into the action then play one of the non-1939 scenarios.richardsd wrote:no pressure now, but its November next week
Other changes include organic plus city based rail capabilities. The organic capability is a function of a country's industrial tech level and the city based is provided by a number of key cities, which can be reduced through strategic bombing, or captured, reducing a faction's rail capability.
These are just a few of the exciting updates we made and most importantly, NO MORE HOUSE RULES. Anything allowed by the game engine is now sanction by our mod.
We have new rail, transport, invasion and Axis forces in North Africa models that use a exponentially putative cost to enforce their limits. No longer are there hard limits; however, exceeding their limits by more that a little can cost you a lot of PPs. We need documentation to describe these as well as other major changes that will greatly impact how you play. We don't want people to have to learn all this through trail and error and get frustrated with the changed mechanics.richardsd wrote:documentation smocumentation - who needs that![]()
