Do Donnington and Essex mix?
I'm looking to add a bit of distinct list flavor to my Low Countries army. It's all Essex 15s right now, but I see that Donnington has Plancon wielders, and they look way better than the Gladiator or Minifigs examples. How do they compare sizewise?

They are a bit taller, but not enough that it becomes much of a problem, especially since most of the Plancon wielders poses are with the legs wide apart and/or somewhat crouched. They also appear somewhat more fine/slim to me, but I think that will not be really noticable anymore once painted.

if you mean the New Era Donnington Placon guys here, they are pretty close to Essex, maybe marginally larger.
