YUP TOTALLY... slitherine software, you really outdid yourselfs this time!

but i have a question in cult of mithras? the second time the ghostly warriors appear i cant seem to find a strategy... please iain help me:

I don't remember eactly which mission you mean, but make sure you pay close attention to what you are up against. Not all ghost warriors are equal strength - some are very weak, others very tough so check their level.

If they are mixed in with other troops types make sure you know what you are fighting. E.g. Ghouls are very easy to kill with missiles.

Ghosts are heavy infantry so fighting them in rough going gives them big penalties. Ghosts are relatively easy to ride down with cavalry, but dont let your horses get involved in a melee.

ok here's the name: 2ND ASCENSION TO VENUS... the first rank is lvl 1 ghost warriors (6 groups) so they are no challenge, i loose no casualties at most 1 or 2, but the second rank are lvl 15 archers(2 groups) and lvl 25 ghost warriors (8 groups)... they kick my ef'ing ass... and ive been trying to find a strategy but i cant seem to come up with 1

so i have 1 word... HELP!

Mass your auxilia in the rough ground to fight the ghosts. Send cavalry round the sides after you take out the weaker ghosts, and engage the archers. Even if you dont kill them all it keeps them busy and stps them shooting your auxilia packed in the rough.

OK, Thanks Ill try that... but i have 2 groups of auxillia, 3 groups of auxillery cavalry, 1 group of scouts, 1 group of nobles.... any idea what to do with the elephants, preatorians, spearmen, 3 principes, 3 archers, 2 velites, leagonairs, and a leader?
