The winning player (or leading player if it is a draw) should post the results.
Just post the losses, not the score.

Please post in the following format, no need to post the score - just the result:
Div X.
Player A defeats Player B 40-15.

SCORING.
This is different to the TDC and Swiss tournaments.

Loser: takes his points. Never more than 60.
Winner: takes 120 minus the loser's points. Never less than 60.
If a player resigns then they get their score at that point.
If a player defaults then it is scored 90:0

Karvon's Huns defeated Rogerbosso's Visigoths 43 - 9.

A loose screen of our light horse located the enemy and drew a fair number of their right wing off in pursuit to our far left. Meanwhile, our three divisions of horse archers supported by lancers, shifted right along the baseline behind mixed woods in our right sector, then enveloped and overwhelmed the enemy left and center. Our light horse from the far left danced around the Visigoth cavalry on our left, and galloped to the center to help see off some fragmented troops.

Maeglyr (Gauls) defeats Jtrillodmp (Thesalians) 60-35

The Thessalian hoplites proved ineffective at halting the hordes of Gallic warriors on both fronts, suffering heavily under the force of their charges. The Greeks’ elite cavalry were also unable to turn the tide, as the terrain was difficult and the Celtic chariots played their part in countering their superior quality. Only the medium and light infantry of the Thessalians offered great resistance in difficult terrain. Two fun battles in which we could clearly see the strengths and weaknesses of both armies. Thank you, Maeglyr!

Karvon's Parthians defeated EdmondDantes Jewish Revolt 44 - 10.

A river closed off the right flank and was bordered by a long, narrow, steep ridge running along it, ending in a bit of rough, further narrowing our options there. A large farming complex on our right at the foot of this ridge, likewise limited mounted on that side. A large plateau with some scattered rough and woods dominated the center of the Jewish position. A medium-sized marsh bordered the left of our center with a large, gentle ridge lying beyond that running towards the far side of the field.

Given the potential masses of Jewish skirmishers, we maxed out on our cataphracts, hoping they could shrug off the missile fire long enough to come to grips with the Jewish lightly armored mediums. We place these in two divisions supported by a few horse archers to screen and support them, in the center opposite the main hill. We placed a medium foot command, screened by our light foot and supported by a few horse archers, hidden in the marsh on our left. A small horse archer command formed up between our foot and cataphracts on the left.

Expecting the Jews to form up on the hill and extend to the steep ridge on our right, our plan was to push forward strongly on our left with one division of cataphracts and our foot, while the other division of cataphracts would push in the center and refuse on our right.

The Jews deployed and initially advanced as expected, moving to secure the central hill and the ridge on our far right, behind a cloud of their light foot. It was fairly easy for our foot and cataphracts to brush aside the few lights facing us on the left and envelop the enemy right. While the zealots anchoring the line put up a stubborn fight, they went down, one by one as they were flanked, and got ground down by our cataphracts. Our central cataphracts shrugged off the barrage of initial missile fire, and drove the light back through their supporting mediums, pinning down the enemy center. A couple refused our right flank and drove off the lights that attempted to encircle them, with support from a few horse archers.

Karvon's Jewish Revolt defeated EdmondDantes Parthians 63 - 47.

A river blocked off our left flank, further narrowed by a long, steep ridge running along the river, ending in a rough patch and a large farming complex on the far side of the field. A large, gentle hill, with a few scattered patches of rough and woods, filled our central sector. A couple of farming complexes filled most of our right corner. A couple of gentle hills filled most of the right center and the far right corner. A medium-sized marsh lay at the foot of the hills in the center sector.

We deployed some of our light foot facing the steep ridge on our right, backed up by a division of medium foot, led by a single zealot. We placed two divisions of mediums, with front ranks of zealots, to the right of these. A large division of light foot supported by a couple of mediums deployed along the slopes of the central hill.

Our plan was to skirmish in the center with our lights, while pushing forward along the narrow ridge on our left with our mediums. Our other medium divisions would shift in response to the Parthian deployment and advances, as we were not sure of what sort of list the Parthians would choose to bring.

As it turned out, the Parthians went with a horse archer heavy list, about 50/50 light and cavalry, supported by a very few cataphracts, and a number of footbow, both light and medium. They deployed fairly evenly across the field, with the cataphracts scattered individually in the rear as support and reserves.

We pushed forward quickly on the left along the steep ridge with our lights backed by mediums. In the center, we advanced our lights to the forward slopes of the hill, which allowed us to maximize our shooting. We started shifting our other two medium divisions, one advancing slowly into the space between the ridge and hill, while the other shifted a little to the right to provide some support and shelter for our lights.

The Parthians advanced a line of light horse aggressively all along the front and skirmishing broke out across the line. With our superior numbers, we came out ahead in this disrupting a fair number of his lights. A few attempts to drive us off the hill were repulsed thanks to our advantage of higher ground. Unable to close effectively with our lights lining the slopes of the steep ridge on our left, the Parthians bypassed them pushing on towards our awaiting mediums. This led to a bit of a cul-de-sac, with lights on each flank and mediums facing them. Our mediums chased the lights back and then some of our lights took them in the flank, sending several fleeing the field.

The Parthians moved up their cavalry horse archers to support their disrupted and scattered lights. Again, our shooting proved superior as the unarmed cavalry were pretty vulnerable targets at optimal range. Some of our light did get worn down by shooting, and we pulled them back to rally in safety.

The Parthians then swept forward with their cavalry horse archers in the center and our lights fled back out of range for the most part, though one or two did get caught. However, our mediums had moved up by this point and promptly engaged and dispatched those horse archers unlucky enough to get stuck in combat.

In the meantime, our left wing had swept along the ridge and then into the rough and farming complex beyond. These tied up a couple of the rare cataphracts and destroyed several massed bow. They drove the horse archers out of the area, chasing some off the field and the rest into the center. The cataphracts did eventually destroy a couple of our foot, but their pursuit took them away from the action in the center and effectively out of the battle.

Our medium foot converged on the center, methodically scattered the Parthian horse archers, slowly driving them into pockets where they could be trapped and killed, or away from the main action. Our lights continued to slowly grind them down with concentrated fire, or dive off light horse with attack on flanks or rear. Sometimes the Parthians were able to surround and flank an isolated unit, and lights continued to get run down from time-to-time, so we took losses as well. However, with our numbers, we could more easily afford these, and between the escalting losses and horse driven from the field, the Parthians finally broke.

Solemnace's Sarmatian 350BCE-24CE defeated IMC's Macedonian 328BCE-321BCE 45-20

The Macedonians formed a rough box formation to try and counter the Sarmatian lancers having heard from unreliable sources it was a good defensive technique against massed cavalry. They had not however heard that squares worked by disipline and holding formation supported by missle volleys out of the formation to break up attackers and swiftly resorted to illadvised sorties from the box agaisnt their enemies to try and drive them off only to suffer heavy losses. The Macedonian elephants, the only units truly untouchable by the Sarmatian lancers, were defeated by Sarmatian javelins brought for this very task and a lucky flank charge agaisnt a disrupted Elephant allowing the Lancers to overwhelm them with minimal losses. Macedonian cavalry fought hard but eventually the losses told and the Macedonians crumbled and fled.

Ironclad Scots - Irish defeated SirMichael Germanic Horse Tribes 46-19

The battle field was mainly open with woodland clusters near to the startlines and some areas of rough in the middle of the wide plain. The Scots-Irish concentrated their infantry forces on the left near to rough zone there with their chariots initially hidden in the woods. The Germans opted for a wider battleline fronted by their more numerous lights.

With the main battle developing in and around the rough zone the Scots-Irish infantry there gained an advantage although they encountered fierce resistance from the enemy warbands. The latter were eventually overcome thanks to the rough terrain and the left wing chariots gaining a flanking attack position. In contrast the right wing chariots and their light supports with further to travel in the open were beaten by the opposing enemy horse and lights.

With the rough zone secured the Scots Irish were able to push back and attrit the enemy cavalry whist feeding more units into the actions on the right leading to a decisive outcome. Thanks to SirMichael for a tough and entertaining fight.

Ironclad Germanic Horse Tribes defeated SirMichael Scots-Irish 62-38

With the enemy deploying on a wide front with their chariots in the centre and their infantry divided into two blocs on the wings each with light infantry support the Germanic battle plan focused on defeating the chariots as quickly as possible and then concentrating on the left to take on the advancing infantry there.

Although fierce fighting was involved, once the chariots were defeated, the high mobility of the German horse gave them a decided advantage over the divided enemy infantry forces although the extremely well handled enemy lights proved highly effective. By the time the Scots-Irish infantry from the other flank intervened in the main battle the Germanic forces had achieved a dominant position which allowed them to decisively defeat the remaining Scots-Irish.

Thanks again to my opponent for a hard fought and enjoyable battle.

Karvon's Sassanids defeated ulysisgrunt's Huns 40 - 12.

A river blocked off the right flank. A medium wood rested along the river in our center-right section. Another medium wood lay across the way from that in our center-left section.

We deployed a loose line of our heavy foot in the space between, but well short of these woods. We place massed bow in a loose line behind these, with some elephants behind them in reserve. A couple of medium foot were placed in the woods on our right to secure those and provide a flanking force. A couple more heavy foot in loose line were refused to cover our left flank, with a pair of elephants backing them up. We deployed our light foot along the edges of the woods on our left. We massed our horse archers well behind our foot in reserve. Our few light horse were scattered across the front to detect the oncoming enemy.

The Huns deployed a large number of horse archers in a long line across the front, screened by a number of light horse. Half a dozen or so lancers formed up in pairs in reserve behind these.

The Huns galloped forward along the front and our light horse fell back to avoid getting turned into pin cushions. We edged forward our infantry, but kept well short of the space between the woods, as we wished to funnel the Huns in between them.

The Huns detached about a third of their force to sweep around the woods on our left to threaten our flank, while the rest trotted up to start shooting at our heavy foot. Our light foot in the woods on the left happily snipped at the passing horse archers and managed to disrupt a couple. Our massed bow unleashed a barrage and disrupted one or two as well.

After another round or so of not-so-effective shooting, the Huns attempted to ride down our infantry line. They initially managed to disrupt a few of our foot, but our elephants moved up and that pretty much sealed things up, as they chased down, disrupted and broke numerous units. Our mediums in the woods on the right sortied out and further scattered the Hun horse archers. We moved up some of our horse archers to exploit with a combo of shooting and flanking, further disrupting the Hun center.

Meanwhile, the Hun flanking attempt was halted by our waiting heavy foot and then scattered by our supporting elephants and some of our horse archers, which moved up from the reserve.

Our lights in the woods on our left shifted to firing on already fragmented and disrupted horse archers fleeing the fighting in the center, which saw off another unit or two.

Our elephants continued to stomp on everything that they could reach in the center, and the bunching up of evading horse led to them catching and killing more of the Huns, and that was enough for the Huns to decide to find greener pastures and flee the field.
