I was reading this wrong and was thinking that my opponent was using this version, sorry about that. But without trying to blame someone, was the tournament prepared on an older version of the game while the new one was already out? So we all get this message? We all have crashes every now and then? Slitherine is still the best company ever, no question about that. But this is a bit of an oversight. Same like the scenarios not matching the schedule in the PzC2 tournament.
This tournament I forgot to keep my eye on the timer mostly because of the horror of all those crashes. My opponent was quick with his game and I could have played one or maybe even two turns and finish at least one of the games with a full win (thanks for the effort!). But those crashes keep me from really jumping into a turn, I have to mentally prepare myself for each turn. While other games like FoG2 are just always a simple joy (because they always work). So I missed the chance to get full points in one of those games after destroying 33 out of 37 units from my opponent. I could have reached the HQ in that next turn in one game. And for almost wiping out the competition and losing only a few units I received 19 points more
But still a nice game, nice framework of a game. But if anyone can clarify this tournament situation, with the patch version and stuff, that would be marvellous. And I guess that the person setting up the tournaments has the same ADHD as I have. I always see what I did wrong afterwards (pun intended). Have a good day!
