Will not load trait page or carry over

When moving from one campaign to another IE from Spanish civil war to 1939 or 1939 to 1940 the hero page with Traits does not come up nor does it carry over traits from previous year.

It will show zero traits. This is recent when I did the new upgrade. Must be a software issue.

Ideas or fixes?

Start a new campaign, choose the next one, and the game will ask if you want to continue from the previous campaign. You get your old units, prestige and heroes. And then you can also choose a new set of traits.

If you go straight to the new campaign from the finished campaign then it does not work for some reason.

No this is the standard continuation when you finish a year, and it asks if you want to continue to next year. All my units transfer but does not bring up the main trait page and also does not carry over your personal traits so you have no traits at all

Did you read what I wrote?

So, don't do that. Just start the next campaign manually as 'new', and you get asked if you want to continue on from the previous campaign just finished. Then it works.
