This thread is for reporting the WTC25 Round 2 match results

Results of all games in all Round 2 matches should be posted in this thread.

All the games that are to be played are listed in the tables below and in the challenge thread, there are eight matches each of four mirror games, one mirror game in each period. This is a total of 64 games but only one mirror game per player.

The winner should post, or in the event of a draw, the player with the lowest % damage received. If both players received same damage either player can post.

Please post using the Round 2 Match number 1 to 8, from the tables in post below, with the period and identify if game (a) or (b). Then add each of the players final % loss (highest damage then lowest damage) as shown in the top left of the match (game) screen on the final turn. Please then add any description/narrative you feel like adding.

As an example:

Scoring is be as set out in the rules.
The results tables are in the next post and will remain at the top of this thread.
The tables will be updated every two to three days at the top of the thread.

The scores for the teams will be periodically updated as ranked Team Scores in the ranking thread.

The deadline for completion of Round 2 games and posting results is 24:00 UTC 18th October.

Nijis (Germans) defeats Rosedelio (Romans) 55-25.

The gods, aka the dice, were with the Germanic hordes. Warbands and high-quality Roman foot met in a big infantry scrum in the center. Despite suffering some initial defeats, the warbands stood their ground, lasting long enough until the attrition of both armies allowed their extra depth to tip the balance.

Despite some initial setbacks, the warbands eventually ground down almost everyone who wasn't a Legio Palatina or a Cataphract.

4a The Berbers managed a victory before the knights and missile troops did too much damage 47:14
4b The Portuguese team swept aside a horde of skirmishers and then pounced on the remaining Berbers. 45:2

Solemnace was a resolute general and a great opponent who dealt with defeat with superb grace.

Thank to Zuangcheng who played fast, the field wasn't easy but in match A he even took two strong heights positions I held. I didn't dare to fight him in those position in the reverse match !
