SOE Redux Question

at the end of the 1939, you're offered your choice of 2 Marines, Paratroopers or Geb/A[pine Units which become available at the start of the 1940 Campaign but technically undeployable until the 2nd Battle for Oslo. Assuming all 3 will have 41,43,etc. upgrades, which Unit are you going with and what was the deciding factor?

I'm personally a fan of the paratroopers; however I have used the Gebirgsjager on a play through.

my main question is that during the campaign, are there enough situations where the Alpine Traits will take effect? my considerations on the Marine are the 12 attack and the recon trait. that unit with aiming assist, ignore entrenchment and butcher or city fighter working in conjunction with an Infantry Support Artillery Unit plus Bombers should be quite effective at City/Fort capture. of course you could put the same 3 on the Alpine unit but lose the recon traits. recon would come into play constantly whereas not the Alpine? anyone feel free to weigh in
