Any recommendations for similar games?

Hi folks,
I still love playing this game, specially with the skirmish add-ons like Paul's Cold War one.
My question is this: can players recommend other games that are of a similar style and which are similarly straightforward in their gameplay? I love the simple elegance of BA2!

If you ignore all the counter games then you have 3 choices:

The Troop
Headquarters WW2
Second Front

My personal favourite is The Troop, although it has some unusual game mechanics (such as turret rotation and the LOS rules) that new players have trouble getting to grips with. Once you have learned them it is a fantastic game to play.
