Questions about game

Hello i was considering buying the game, mainly for multiplayer, but i have some questions
1-Is there unit variety in multiplayer matches? if so how the game ensures it? usually in this type of games people tendo to
go for few unit types. in multiplayer i watched , was not able to see usage of apc from either players for example.
2- how well fog of war works? For example can you hide your inf units in towns or forests?
3- how logistics works? how detailed it is in this game? asking as toaw player, i expect abstraction comparing to that game but on what level this abstraction is?
4- Can you lay mines? if yes, how?

1. No idea, the game is sp focused, not many mp players as sp ones.
2. You see what's inside visual range of your units, and everything else are under fow. Terrain is visible, but not units. No, only Camouflage trait and hero can hide unit from view, and only recon units can discover camouflaged units not adjacent to you.
3. Units are supplied as long as game can draw a path not blocked by enemy zoc and terrains impassible for vehicles to map edge or ally Supply Hex, otherwise the unit is encircled and can't get ammo/fuel resupply or reinforcements.

Can you lay mines? if yes, how?

certain scenarios allow you to lay mines. You have to get a specialized mine laying unit to a specific marked hex to lay them. That is as close to laying mines as the game gets.

All games have a variety of units you can pick. I believe in MP you choose what troops you like, although I think you might get a starting force on map. I don't play much MP and have not for a few years so not sure what it is like now.
