Terminator Dark Fate - launcher freezing

I had this game since it first dropped, never had any issues, now I start playing after purchasing the dlc and the game won't work, the launcher keeps freezing. I have tried running as admin, but it still won't work.. please can someone help me???????

some issues with overlays can stop some games from running, or working correctly, work arounds, don't load any... and always have a clean start up for games and run from a admin account.

so install and run steam as admin gets around most issues with permissions type errors etc, or poor 3rd rate anti virus or game unfriendly firewalls etc.

anything else regarding game not starting issues needs more information.

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on your "START" or "Windows" button

2. click "run" or
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK" or hit Enter

4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
