Model selection for Late Crusader

Away from the UK (still) at the moment and have unfortunately left my Swords and Scimitars supplement at home. I am looking to put together a Late (ish - up to 3rd say) Crusader Force of around 800 points and plan to use the figures from Legio Heroica. They list the figures together with some FOG BG packs here:

Can anyone help me out and suggest a combination of packs that would come out around 800, I can always pad it out with some options later. Looking for it to be fairly military order heavy (with Templars and Hospitallers), with a fair amount of order spear and x-bows. Turcoples would also be needed.

Any help appreciated.

Would have put this in a specific Army List group but couldn't see one that fitted the bill (both seem to be about either new books or player designed armies).

probably would have been fine in the army design

quick look over the list, cannot have more than 12 military order bases (prob best in 4's)
need at least 4 other knights

turcopoles are 0 - 6 (again i think 4 would be good as drilled for manouvering)

min 8 other spearmen and 12 total spearmen of whom 8 can be military order

crossbows 6 to 24, min 6 other crossbow, up to 8 military order

refering to Tim porters website, he suggests knights and cheerleaders approach

so 4 x tc 140
2 x 4 military orders 208
2 x 6 other knights 276
4 x drilled turcopoles 48
8 other spearmen 48
2 x 6 other crossbowmen 72

totals 792
very unsubtle, and probably not the best army out there,

Thanks for that. Forgot about the entry on Tim's list. Can certainly order enough to commence the army from this.

So, time to order these Crusaders as Legio Heroica have a postal offer on until 10/3/10. So I can cover most of the various options with the purchase (note this is a PURCHASE not army list) I'm thinking of going for:

1 x CinC and 2 x Sub Generals

2 x 6 Military Order Knights

3 x 4 Secular Knights

1 x 6 Turcopoles

2 x 8 Military Order Spearmen

3 x 6 Other Spearmen (or might just go for 2 x 8 )

1 x 8 Military Order Xbows

3 x 6 Other Xbow (or again maybe 2 x 8 )

Figure that should do it About £181 at current £/E exchange rate. Who said 15mm was cheap!!!
