It would be really useful if the Religion Overlay of region populations could also present the religion of the owners, for example through a striped pattern (like the Ownership Overlay) with thick stripes being region's religion and thin stripes (legal) owner's. (Obviously, if region's and owner's religions are the same, it would show as currently without stripes.)

Same suggestion for Culture Overlay.
