[Graphical Bug][Scenario and pushpin locations on campaign map incorrect][New]

Post by redStick »

Before loading the Operation Chahar scenario of the Morning Sun campaign, the player could see the campaign map showing the following information: the location of Operation Chahar centered with a white circle, core icons representing the factions involved, a red arrow of advance indicating a Japanese offensive, and a red pushpin signifying a condition favoring the Japanese (If the player dealt 20 or more damage with the Sōkō Sagyō Ki unit in the previous scenario).

However, the white circle is centered at the wrong location. It is located in Ningxia province, some 700 km away from Chahar province. The red pushpin is also far away from its intended location, which is Beiping. The red arrow overlaps with the Japanese core icon, while the Japanese core icon overlaps with the red pushpin. They should not overlap, and should look similar to the following example from before the beginning of another scenario instead.

Please reposition these elements so they are located correctly and look neat.

This is a update regarding the correct location of Operation Chahar and Beiping. Because only up to three pictures can be attached in a post, and I plan to have five in this topic, I created this follow-up post so I could attach the other three.
However, the white circle is centered at the wrong location. It is located in Ningxia province, some 700 km away from Chahar province. The red pushpin is also far away from its intended location, which is Beiping.
Here is a part of a map published in July 1939 featuring Ningxia province, Chahar province, and Beiping city:

Zhangjiakou and Xuanhua are marked on the map above. Zhangjiakou and Xuanhua are primary victory points in the Operation Chahar scenario:

Thus, I recommend that the white circle on the campaign map which is displayed before the start of the Operation Chahar scenario be centered in the vicinity of Zhangjiakou and Xuanhua. I have labeled a meridian and a parallel crossing the area, so whoever placing the white circle could figure out the relative location of the area with the lines' intersections with the borders and coastline.

The Sōkō Sagyō Ki engineering vehicle spawns to the northeast of Beiping. It is likely to have dealt 20 or more damage near Beiping. Therefore, the red pushpin with the tooltip "The Sōkō Sagyō Ki engineering vehicle had served with distinction in battle" should be pinned on Beiping.
