Unable to play Multiplayer on FOG II Medieval

Hi Technical

I am unable to play multiplayer as I need to launch update.

I have found 1.66 and I think I have installed it but still Medieval says I need to update and to use the launcher.

I thought Steam automatically updayed everything, that is why I bought the game form them (further to RBS' recommendation as well, I think).

Anyways, stuck I am and a bit frustrated.

In dummy terms, please help.

If you are playing on Steam, then you shouldn't need to find anything, it will just update automatically.

Were you playing with the beta version at any point?

I can't play FOGII Medievl multiplayer because I can't down load the new update from the updater. I keep getting, unable to down file. An error occurred trying to open an FTP file. I,ve shut down my firewall and still can't. Where can I go to get the download?? Okie
