Kingdoms Royalty Patch 1.01 is coming soon

It's been some time since Field of Glory: Kingdoms was released, and the reception has been very positive. We're pleased that many of you are enjoying the game and providing valuable feedback and suggestions. While we process this feedback and set our priorities, we're happy to announce that a new patch is coming very soon, and it includes bug fixes, rebalancing, and additional content. The update (I'm not sure I'd call it a "patch" because the game runs great, but I'll leave that to the developers to use their terms of the trade), sounds promising. I have a question though. Does anyone know how to get rid of those pesky claims on your domain? While playing the El Cid campaign, I kept getting rivals placing claims on my provinces. I was able to get rid of some of them by building a decent army and stomping on the nearby taifas that made the claims, but the overall drain on my authority caused me to come in a close second at the end of the campaign. The same tactic as Castilla in the 1054 campaign got the entire Muslim world pissed at me and now I'm broke and I'm under an impending jihad. I wish there was a peaceful way to resolve these pesky claims.

Will saves be compatible with 1.01?
I have campaign saved on turn 1 and like to repeat it from start with different difficulty while I learn how game works.

You can try to negotiate with them to drop their claim but you have to have good relations.
Sometimes offering to drop a claim of your own on your opponent if they drop their claim might work. Often needs some gold as extra incentive. Forcing the issue by the sword is the best way I know to deal with bothersome claims.

Yes the game in 1.01 will be compatible with 1.00. I even managed to load a 0.72 game with it

Claims: That's why we call it a patch. We have modified what hostile claims entail toward you. It should be less problematic in 1.01. For the time being, Deadtorius' advice is good!
