Hi all,
i`m an Italian newbie creating scenarios for Panzer Corps 2.
I created a new and detailed complete Sicily map and al other stuffs about Husky operation (for human against AI).
I named them Husky (to play German side) and Sicily (for Allied side).
But I found a problem for the Allied version: I do not know why, when I click "play" (in the editor and also using Panzer corp 2 custom scenario button) appears the briefing of "Iron cross, red star II" instead of the correct "Sicily" briefing (see screenshot attachment "briefing").
Moreover the overview do not show the main objective and the bonus objective (see screenshot attachment "overview").
I tried to rename, to use a different file (of a different battle) renaming the ".pz2brf" but without results.
Instead the German version (Husky) briefing works correctly showingh both right contents.
Can someone help me?
Thanks
Silvio

Re: editor strange behaviour
My guess is u messed up the battle sides. Top left corner of the "briefing" or "objectives" tab u can switch between the sides. either do it here or in the player tab.

Re: editor strange behaviour
Thanks for the quick reply, Grondel.
Having created two identical scenarios (same map and units) I changed the players according to the version (German or Allied) but I forgot the sides...
As you suggested I checked the player sides and I discover the mystake...
See attachment.
I corrected the sides in scenario parameters (see attachment), but now the scenario crashes (see attachment), while before it came to an end correctly giving the victory results as established for the side 1.
So, I suppose that the objectives are correctly memorized by the game for allied side.
But probably not the briefing.
In any case I have no idea because the "briefing" is from another scenario located in another folder.

Re: editor strange behaviour
Hello,
I think I solved the problem by deleting the objectives for side 1 and inserting "all objectives" instead of "capture victory hex" for side 2.
Now it no longer crashes at the opening of the game and correctly displays briefings and objectives.
I have to test the scenario to see if it ends correctly conquering all objectives, but it seems that now everything is OK.
