Can't continue game if window minimizes

I can't go back into the game if the Game-window loses focus and minimizes itself to the taskbar.

This happens when a new Window is opened (Instand Messenger, Antivirus,..) or when I click on the edge where I've placed the Windows taskbar if it's not in the default state (bottom of screen, one line)

Can you fix this problem so I musn't restart the game every time this happens?

Sorry you are having problems. Unfortunately the game was not designed to be minimized during play and that's why we disabled the abilaity to Alt Tab out of the game to avoid these issues. In the short term I think it's unlikely we'll fix this I'm afraid, but I'll add it to the wish list. Is it possible to disable the Pop ups while you are in game?

It's possible, but not very comfortable since I want these notifications.
I've already done 70% of the game in a day, so it won't hurt to turn of all those programs.

Other things you might add to the wishlist:

* Option to disable spoken dialogs - that Yadda Yadda is *very* annoying after a short time (Workaround: delete or rename the directory "dialogues" in C:\Programm Files\Slitherine\Horrible Histories Ruthless Romans\sound\
* Support forums for the other supported languages
* A Done-Button so you don't have to wait for the time-out in the Drawing-Minigame of the 'fights'
* Hints for the Minigames where you have to find the 15 differences in the two pictures

Thanks for the feedback - if people have problems with spot the differences we could add some online help. I think if we put help in game its too tempting to use it and could spoil the fun.

I agree with that, but it could be like 2 or 3 hints per picture, so the puzzles coudn't be solved simply by requesting hints for all differences.
The online help would be problematic since you have to switch between the webbrowser and the game, which is impossible at the moment
