Does arty fire during the opponents turn, like other missile units ?

I think I have seen that sometimes it fires and sometimes it doesn't but I may be mistaken.
Or is there some criteria for it to fire...

It should afaik, during the fire phase, but not as reaction fire to movement.

That is what I thought but in my current MP game am pretty sure it isn't.

It is not firing in opponents turn.
It is firing in "firing phase" of yours army (before yours main turn).

OK, think I have it worked out.
If your arty moves or changes facing during your move, even after firing, then it won't fire during the firing phase of the enemy turn.
