Scenario
A unit of LF in disordering terrain declare a charge on the flank of my LH unit (in the open) that is in combat with another unit of LF that is fragmented.
I have a second unit of LH which can move four inches into the path of the LF charge.
Can I declare an intercept charge even though it is over disordering terrain?
furthermore, if it was a Cav unit is the intercept charge four inches whichis greater than the amount it can move in that terrain or is it restricted to three inches?

Then you were screwed....
Pg 60
"...A BG entirely of LF cannot charge or intercept unbroken NON SKIRMISHERS in open terrain (even in flank or rear)...
SKIRMISHER CAN ALWAYS CHARGE/INTERCEPT SKIRMISHERS
