Austrian Army List

Post by cfeicht_slith »

Hi All,

I have a question regarding the end date of the Austrian list, which is is set to end in 1446. Why 1446?

Thanks,

Christian

Hi Christian,

Does this answer your question?:

"From 1440 the Habsburg rulers of Austria were also Holy Roman Emperor, and so the German (Imperial) lists should be used for later wars involving Austria as part of the Holy Roman Empire. Between the later 13th century and 1446, Austria fought a series of local wars against the Swiss Confederacy."

That's from the in game Austrian introduction text.

cheers
