4 x 2 Huscarls: LF/Unprotected/Superior/Bow/-/-
2 x 4 Bretons: LH/Unprotected/Average/Javelin/LightSpear/-
2 x 4 Bretons: Cavalry/Armoured/Superior/-/LightSpear/Swordsmen.

it comes to 799 points.

After playing this army a few times I'm thinking of:

Dropping one of the Bretons;
Increasing the number of Freemen (although I like the formation I seem to run them in which is as follows:


with:
being Huscarls and;
being Freemen;

I've also toyed with the idea of running the Bretons and Franks

No, it's another less well known inspirational general. I'm toying with the thought of getting rid of the IC, but I'm not really sure yet...

I would try and avoid two separate allies, you will have very limited command ability not only because your inspired commander can't help allies, but if a general dies, you will be extremely strung out as far as rallying/complex moves go.
