Getting the briefing to work

I'm trying to set up the briefing, but I've been unsuccessful so far. I have the briefing set up in the editor, or so it seems, as you can see in the first screenshot below.

When I run the scenario, the briefing doesn't show up initially in the first pane of the briefing screen (second screenshot), only when I hit the "next step" button (red) it shows up in the second pane. But very strange is that when I hit the "previous step" button, the briefing is there in the first pane as I intended it to be. Is this a glitch or I am doing something wrong?

u best open a scenario in the editor that has a briefing, maybe from AO campaign, and check out what u need to do.

Got it thank you. If anyone else is wondering - you need to add below the "show text" function the "pause" function.
