If you're looking for a better computer opponent - "Rise of AI" Mod

You experienced players already know about this, but for newer players looking for a better AI opponent than the one that comes with the game, consider the "Rise of AI Global Mod" (latest version is v3.12) by roguedjack. It's downloadable in-game through the "Download community scenarios" button in the upper left corner of the game's main page.

The main downside to using the mod is (depending on your computer) it may really slow down the AI's turns because it's processing more possibilities.

Also, don't use it when playing single-player (SP) "Epic Battles" as it may conflict with the scripted AI strategies or deployments.
