virus on new DLC

Trying to download the new Swifter than Eagles DLC and it keeps failing due to a detected virus (Windows Defender).

This is probably a false positive, as no virus/Trojan is detected by the various antiviruses we use.

I will let production know.

Did this happen with the v1.6.6 updater, or specifically with the Swifter than Eagles "installer"?

If the latter only, you can activate Swifter than Eagles by running the updater again and clicking the Activate DLC button at the bottom left corner.

I was using the installer from the email or my page. I have never been able to get the updater in the game to work. My computer is very old and temperamental though so it might be at my end

Hi Ian,

You will need to run the updater anyway, you can download it from here:

https://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/FieldOf ... v1.6.6.zip

The updater includes the option to activate Swifter than Eagles. (From the drop down menu if you haven't yet updated the game, otherwise from the button at the bottom left of the installer launcher.)

No joy however. Its telling me the side by side configuration is incorrect. I went for a fresh install but it wont let me uninstall the original lol.

All is not lost though. I have successfully downloaded the game again on my old computer that I rescued from the attic. And as the problem computer doesn't recognise the gpu card either and is asking me to activate windows key again (that I haven't got anymore since I upgraded to win 10) and periodically freezes, I am going to bin it and buy something more up to date!
