This is a great series of documentaries well worth watching. It focuses on the broader picture rather than just the military aspect. There are episodes on the Sea Peoples and the Sumerians which are covered by the next DLC.
My favorite was Easter Island having already read several books about it's decline, however he comes up with a whole different perspective on what happened.

Just wanted to say thanks for the link. I'm about halfway through now and they're astounding. Easter Island was heartbreaking, and the Bronze Age Collapse brings together and makes sense of so much from these recent DLC.
