HOML 2 Medieval - Results

SCORING.
This is different to the TDC and Swiss tournaments.

Loser: takes his points. Never more than 60.
Winner: takes 120 minus the loser's points. Never less than 60.
If a player resigns then they get their score at that point.
If a player defaults then it is scored 120:0

Examples:
result: 40-15. score: 105-15
result: 60-35. score: 85-35
result: 60:50. score: 70:50

Draws. Each player gets their points scored, with a maximum of 60.
Examples:
result: 25-15. score: 25-15
result: 63:61. score: 60:60

The winner of a game should post the result.

Rosedelio (Irish) defeats Lennard (Anglo-Irish) 60-57. Score 63-57

The Irish Galloglaich in the center got obliterated by the mix of Galloglaich and longbows, but the lights and kerns on the flanks were about to eek out a win.

Rafydedel (Armenians) defeats Gort7078 (Dailami) 65-50
Score 70-50

After an initial powerful attack by the Dailami, the Armenians knights managed to defeat their opponent cavalry and to attack Dailami infantry, distracting them from finishing Armenian helpless foot units. A lot of twists and turns and a high attrition rate.

Score 115- 5

After a slow approach of the Armenians who were holding a good defensive position, the Dailami gave a powerful blow in the center of their opponent formation with their impact infantry, while their cavalry managed to keep busy the Armenians knight on the wing with a constant threat but no actual fight.

Rosedelio (Anglo-Irish) defeats Lennard (Irish) 62-40. Score 80-40

Irish galloglaich and lights tore through the center but the Anglo-Irish kerns and lights managed to win in the marshy flanks. It was another close game, though some lucky rallies made the score look the way it is.

I organized my army in one center of camels, and two wings of a mix of camels and tuareg foot. The Portuguese army was waiting on the wings with longbowmend and crossbowmen, but the Turaeg impact was too strong.

The Tartars tried to go around both flanks but were caught out on the left flank but knights and spearmen and on the right by crossbowmen and spearmen, and then the battle fractured into isolated skirmishes in all four corners of the field.

Good, friendly game, it turns out bloppo67 and I have one degree of separation through Italian DBM players

A head-to-head battle, Dailami's main body of infantry stormed the stone thrower positions of Fatima's army on the right flank hill and destroyed them.
