Panzer Corps 2 - Only one hero campaign

Hey guys!

Sorry it's been a little quiet from me recently, worry not though. I am not dead and I do in fact have a new campaign for you to enjoy...

One thing that comes up a lot is the power of heroes, so I have started a 1942 run with only 1 hero per unit allowed, which you can find here. I also tied up my playlists, so in the playlists section you can find all the previous campaigns.

I hope to also further explore heroes, but could do with a little help. If any of you have some spare time, I'd love to do a hero tier list video. That means I need all the hero descriptions and their icons. Which unfortunately means cropping them out of the game. If anyone can help with this, let me know .

in theorie they all can be hero traits. i´m pretty sure there is another list buried in the game with the list for the randomly generated heroes, but i have no acces to that. all heroe traits existing in the game should be in this list. u just need to remove the ones not used for random heroes. u will find the according icon in the folder i mentioned above.

What I am actually after to make the video is a whole collection of these:


But, this is made up of a number of game elements, so you can't just use the assets. You need to go through the pain of cropping them all from the game itself.

I might eventually get around to doing it myself, but it's been months and people keep asking for a "heroes tier list" and I just never find the time .

First 55 heroes from Grondel's list attached. This is including odd ones not possible to get or those with traits native to units, not heroes - just in case, since it might be useful later anyway. I'll try to get the rest done over the weekend.

EDIT - never mind, the attachment function seem to not like ZIP files. I've uploaded this to the same ImgBB I use for my AARs then:

The link above now contains all heroes from the list I managed to capture. There are 123 in total, but about a third of them will probably represent traits that units have by default, or will be heroes disabled for now (On The Roll comes to mind). I went to my own hero tier list thread as well to double check. I think I got them all, but there's this small chance one or two got missed just due to the number of options.

Consider this a contribution to a liked channel from someone not using Patreon. I can at least help this way.

BTW, I did not capture instances of flat stat bonus heroes that are not possible to get outside special heroes such as Elsa Kloss as they do not offer the specific tooltip when you hover over the bonus, as their bonus is quite straightforward. Plus they cannot be really obtained outside special heroes, but might be worth mentioning them (or just reviewing those special heroes individually as well, but some my consider this spoiler territory).

Thanks! I had it in the background when doing my own run today, very educational (did not know a few tiny interactions or never thought of some ideas, such as using Aggressive Counterattack on infantry for the superior close combat difference). Always something to learn further.
