I've just finished the campaign yesterday, and aside from some rough edges here and there (eg: limited VO/animations for certain units etc), it's a bloody brilliant effort in my opinion. I'll be putting my review up on Steam soon, that's for certain!

My wishlist:

More factions!
More maps!
More campaigns!
More, more, more!

I know I'm being impatient and greedy (And unrealistic). But I ALWAYS wished for a turn-based version of DoW, and this is the closest we have to it, even 18 years later.

If you look at my Steam library, you'll see my path to reaching Battlesector. The DoWs, Armageddon, Gladius, Sanctus Reach, Mechanicus. All fantastic, and played for many, many, many hours, but not quite "there" in terms of replicating the tabletop game or DoW's "watching my units over their shoulders, stomping/getting stomped on the battlefield" kind of excitement!

In my humble opinion, Black Labs and Slitherine have a long-term winner here, IF they can flesh out this game beyond the incoming Necrons and open campaign mode (obvious statement is obvious). But I really believe it. BTW thank you Devs for all your hard work in getting me closer to my wish!

more units. more factions is good but current factions are very empty
