Visibility of your troops to the enemy

Post by vakarr »

Is it possible to see when the enemy can see your hidden troops? For instance, if you hide your troops at the edge of a forest, when will the enemy be able to see them? It would be nice if you could click on an enemy unit, then click on the line of sight tooltip, and be able to see what the enemy can see - this can be done in some other games.

Usually, the enemy will spot you at a range of around 2 squares, sometimes it just 1. There is a LOS tool which shows what you can see from where you are. The reverse is of course true if your troops are in the open. Plan accordingly.

Hi Chris,

It is deliberate that there is no button to reveal which of your troops the enemy can see. A real general would not have such a facility, and would have to play it safe if he wanted his troops to remain hidden.
