I am in the midst of playing my 1st round

I noticed that you cannot deploy jets or bombers on the aircraft carrier.
Fair enough.

I further noticed you can upgrade to jets once you capture an airfield.

If I put strat bombers in reserve, can I deploy them when Once I capture an airfield?

Never mind - yes you can

Anything you ever have in reserve can be deployed provided you have the slots and the base/port/air field on the map to deploy them.
