Help, names not showing on map

Post by PoorOldSpike »

Look, I've named the cities in my home-made "Kicking in the Door" scenario...

But when I start the scen the names have disappeared, what am I doing wrong?

Try hitting the 'Hot Key' 'h'
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

Thanks but although that works fine in stock scens, it has no effect in my editor-created custom scens.
At this stage I'm hesitant to call it a bug as it might just be my fault for possibly pressing the wrong buttons in the wrong sequence-
Look, in the big red circle I name the selected hex and tick the 'show on map' box, but when I click 'Apply', the 'show on map' box empties and becomes blank again!
Then when I start to play the scen, hitting 'H' has no effect as no names show anywhere, weird..

It is a little bit odd, but you have to double click on it otherwise it is not gonna work

Nope, not working for me.
When I double click on it, the square gets replaced by a check and it even remains in there, while with only one click it disappears
but it has no effect in the scenario whatsoever, no name shown!

Correction: Now it works, but only if I do it with all hexes in need of a name.
If I just selesct a single one and leaving the others out, it doesn't show up!
Anyway: Thanx for the help!

See if this helps-
Select 'Configure hexes' >
Click on the map hex that you want to name >
Type in the name >
Click ONCE in the 'Show name on map' box (don't double click) >
And then click again in the same box a second or two later >
'Apply' >

And that's a bingo..:)
