No Official Slitherine Tournament?

A friend asked me why there hasn't been a Slitherine tournament for FoG 2: Ancients for some time. I just joined the tournament for Medieval on the 16th Dec so I wondered if that had something to do with it.

On Discord, someone said that Slitherine doesn't run a tournament for Ancients if there is one for Medieval. Is this true? Are we going to wait until the end of January or so for the next one?

We are due to release an update for Ancients some time in January. We did not want to do that in the middle of a tournament. Hence we are waiting till after the update to start the next Ancients tournament.
