Best 25mm figs....

Post by Andy1972 »

To go with Wargames Factory? I have 2 boxes of Late Republican foot.. And from the IWF i have my one unit of cav.. Now to fill out the rest of the army.. I want a balance of price and quality.. I love Foundry.. But i dont have the funds for that... What i need are 2 Nelly's, Velites, Thureophori, Syrian horse archers and stuff to make a camp.. This is my first 25mm army. Thanks guys! :D

You could check out Crusader Miniatures website, they do a fair range of troops and most are compatible if slightly different sculpts to foundry.

And Unit deals bring the price per fig to about 85p

Crusader figures are very crisp and well detailed and i found the service great, a & a miniatures do nice numidians and ellies but their service was n't as good as Crusader. Good to see another 25 mm army out there ! :D

Take a look at Rafm multi-parts. You gotta like gluing, but a unit even of regulars/drilled ends up looking unique if you move heads and shields and weapons around.

I don't have access to my links while on this server.........THAT said, Old Glory Miniatures may have what you want. OG's are only 25mm.

I have gotten some great minies from Black Tree Design. BTD has a free discount club for the USA customers. Black Tree Designs also has good sales to save us even more $$$$$. To get to the USA site for BTD goe to the UK site and check on the home page for the USA link.

I forgot to mention....BTD minies are 28mm.
