So I was wondering about the tutorial battle that has the Pomeranians fighting the Teutonic Order. Where is the Pomeranian list derived from? It does not fit the Baltic Tribes list in Custom Battles.

Re: Pomeranians
The tutorials are designed scenarios, rather than custom battles, so there is no army list. Richard designed the scenario in the Editor, and selected units for the Pomeranians as seemed appropriate for the situation.

Re: Pomeranians
I kinda get that but it's pretty different than the Baltic Tribes. Why no list for the Pomeranians then, seeing how different it seemed to be? The Baltics have no Knights as well as some other units that are included.
Just curious.

Re: Pomeranians
The tutorial intro says this:
"The second tutorial scenario will demonstrate deployment and the importance of terrain.~~In 1242 Duke Swietopelk II of Pomerania persuaded the Prussian tribes to rebel against the Teutonic Knights in what came to be called the First Prussian Uprising. You are Duke Swietopelk. You and your Prussian allies are about to engage the Order's army under the Grand Master Gerhard von Malberg in the marshy terrain of Western Prussia."
So I guess that it is just basically a Polish army with Baltic allies. Which we have already in the lists.

Re: Pomeranians
Hi Mord,
From the table top rules Baltic List it is possible to create Wendish, Prussian and Estonian armies (see the Storm of Arrows Army List book). I guess it was decided just to simplify things a bit for the computer game. The three armies all have their own unique features, for instance only the Estonians have the Superior Impact foot but no cavalry, and they also have some crossbowmen. The Wends have access to knights (Danish and Saxon mercenaries)!
So it would have been interesting for those of us that like lots of lists to have had the three separate lists in FOG2M.
cheers

Re: Pomeranians
Thanks, Paul. Interesting. Maybe Richard will revisit this when the game gets more fleshed out. I know there was talk of a separate Wendish list a while back.
