Magister Militum League of Augsburg Figures

Post by OldenTired »

Has anyone actually seen what these figures look like?

I'm thinking of buying some, but in this day and age, not sight-unseen

IIRC these are the old Hallmark range - of which I have some.

They really are 15mm and so, these days, actually look more like large 10mm as 15mm figs have grown so much

Poses are quite static but the castings are (or at least were) very clean. OK range but nothing to get excited about I think would be a fair description.

They don't mix. Smaller and thinner.

sigh.

pity. that essex mounted is probably some of their best work! (imho).

if the range of foot was broader it could be a very interesting army.

anyone have recommendations on a range with a decent variety of foot (and not venexia. the spanish look great, the augsburg stuff, not so much).
