The gunline in the center exchanges fire with the Tercios, but my flanking move collapses immediately as the Spaniards send their Tercios there; I try to withdraw to encourage those units to follow me rather than trying to advance. In effect, I succesfully partially envelop a couple Tercios on both flanks, but they are immune to flanking so my cavalry is useless unless I manage to get on their back, that is however guarded by further Tercios.

The enemy cavalry surges forward and manages to catch my own with a couple lucky charges. My right flank collapses slowly. Overall, my gunline is indeed whittling down the enemy, but the Spaniards are now in range for the melee, and they are shredding me in every single one. Their musket fire is also as strong as mine, unit-per-unit.

Toward the end of the battle the Spanish center has lost the battle, and I manage to divert my pike&shot unit toward the sides, managing to stop the enemy onslaught. Unfortunately, my losses are very high too, and both armies hit their limit.

In conclusion, I used my cavalry really poorly, so I'll take another shot at the battle because I think I can win this. The gunline sorta works, but I have to bait the enemy Tercios in the flanks and get more of my infantry into the battle and earlier.
