I don't mind either way, but it seems unusual that the Matrix Games forums is not hosting discussion over on their site for Panzer Corps 2.
They have the Panzer Corps 1 forums, but it seems no one is talking much about PC2 there.

Re: Why not at Matrix Games?
We generally try and avoid having multiple forums for games these days. Some older games have forums on both Matrix and Slitherine but newer titles only have a home on one or the other.

Re: Why not at Matrix Games?
There are Slith, Matrix and Steam forums and it can get a bit confusing at times, for example we don't know which site its best to buy games from.
And I hear some DLC will only work on the Steam version or vice-versa.
PS- when PC2 was released we could buy the General version or the Fld Marshall version, but although i read the advertising I couldn't understand the difference so I bought the General.

Steam version if bought from steam will only work with steam.
If buy from slitherine can have non steam or request steam key. So slitherine will work both. Not sure about matrix.
Slitherine also give you discount code each year that you been with them.
Standard version game doesn't have bonus music, skins or bonus mission.
General edition has bonus music, skins and missions.
Field Marshall has all from both standard and the general plus so many dlcs.
Any mistakes pip correct for me. That to best my knowledge.

Re: Why not at Matrix Games?
Which best to buy depends on point of view and skills.
Steam version has work shop which has mods for game. I can recommend panzer corps 1 grand campaign really great so far. Big red one is nice allied campaign.
If use steam work shop don't need worry about how download updates or mods so steam simpler.
Steam have sales so can pick things up at price can afford. Often more sales then company like slitherine can do. That said slitherine have sales and give out loyalty discounts for each year active.
Buying from slitherine they get more money so helps build more games and more docs. If buy from slitherine but want ease of use of steam request steam key when buy.
As for forums. I say all useful but slitherine better place as have more like minded people interacting in here.
Hope that all helps

No - you need to run only a single 'flavour' or the game at a time. That said, as has been mentioned, you can redeem for a Steam key after purchasing directly from us.scorehouse wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 3:22 pm if you have downloaded from Slither can you then download the next DLC from Steam say add the Steam 42 to the Slither 41?

Yes, I have both Steam and Slitherline PzC2 installed on my computer.scorehouse wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 3:22 pm if you have downloaded from Slither can you then download the next DLC from Steam say add the Steam 42 to the Slither 41?
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.
Re: Why not at Matrix Games?
You get the loyalty reward from both Slitherine and Matrix. Your keys are available on either website. I will have been with Matrix for 21 years this year. It's a nice feature and very generous.
