Magnetic Bases
Where can I find sheet magnets thin enough to use them in movement trays? I have found some at Hobby Lobby, but they are only 3/4" wide and pretty thick. I use them in my carry case, but was wondering what other options there were.
All of my models have metal bases.

I don't think you will find it in Hobby shops, office supplies are best.

Try this Omar. This is the sort of stuff I put on my figures bases. Nice and thin and holds them to the toolbox well.

I put it on my bases. Base the figures with thick card/mdf then cut a piece of that roughly to shape and superglue to the underside of the base. My bases are then safe in my toolbox.
Because you can get large sizes, if your figures are on metallic bases just cut it to the size of your carry case/drawer and superglue in place.

Storage I have taken care of. I meant for in-game movement trays? Does anyone use them? So that you can keep units together?
For Warhammer I made them out of balsa wood, but that was pretty bulky. I was thinking of using plasti card with that magnetic stuff glued to it, in different shapes and sizes for each formation.

I found magnetic register covers at the hardware store that do the job. 3 to a pack for $5-7. They come in different sizes. The ones I have used are 8" x 15 1/4". They are thin and flexible. I use them to line my storage boxes as I use metal bases. They can be easily cut with a scissors to fit whatever use you intend for them. They probably can't be used alone for movement trays, but can be glued to a piece of card or sheet metal to give them some rigidity.
I have found movement trays to be absolutely necessary. Its a pain in the ass to try and wheel a BG without them. Just regular movement takes longer than it should beacuse you cant just move them forward as a whole, you have to move one, then another, then another. Having a tray you can just push forward with all of them, much better.
I will check a hardware store for that, thanks!
