Swiss have Tiger Tanks?

Reuters is reporting that the Swiss Military Museum is renovating a King Tiger of the 506th Heavy Tank Battalion. One of 8 left in the world and they want to make it the 2nd driveable KT left.

According to wikipedia, this one was given to Switzerland by France after WW2.

Thats correct - I paid a visit to the museum in 2017.

That is very cool. The bottom is actually smaller than I would have expected. Turret looks like it weighs as much as the rest of the tank.
