Estonian partisans

In Stalin Line mission you encounter some Estonian partisans, can pacify them peacefully?

This question was posted in another thread, but since I did not see answer, I'll repost it here. It is a good question, does any know if killing the partisans will have a negative chain event latter on?

It seems script only has encounter event for partisans, nothing besides that... So it doesn't matter if you keep them alive or kill them. Pity, missed opportunity for special partisan/ambusher type infantry unit.

Yeah, I do like the Azul Inf but a Baltic one would have been a nice addition instead of a 2nd Azul unit.
