Battle of Anzen 838 AD (Multiplayer only)

The Arab Caliphate invaded the Byzantine Empire in 838 AD with two armies. The northern army, led by Afshin, advanced to Anzen (Damizon) where it was confronted by the Byzantines led by the Basileus Theophilos. The Byzantine attack was initially successful, but faltered when the Arabs committed their Turkish cavalry. The Basileus Theophilos barely escaped from this humiliating defeat.
