Bought Commander EAW - it dont display all on screen

Just bought Military History Commander Europe At War from a shop, installed it. The map displays in the top left of the screen, covers about 2/3 of screen, but parts that are supposed to be displayed below map are not showing, e.g. resources, control tabs. When I click on a unit no unit panel shows. Also when game starts does not display on whole screen, e.g. shows COMMANDE (i.e. end of word not shown) with presumably bottom and right of screen not displayed. Bottom and right of screen show windows desktop underneath.

Tried uninstall and install again and restart, but same result. Game not usable in this condition. Can you help?

Sorry you are having problems. Can you tell us a bit about your machine. What is your OS, specs, minotor settings etc. Do you have the latest drivers for your cards?

1024x768 is the minimum spec for resolution for Commander series.
