Possible bug? [Edit: Not a bug]

Post by Cunningcairn »

In the picture below my highlighted elephant and the bowman to its left had killed an element at the end of the previous round. Both my elephant a bowman have all their AP's available. My bowman is allowed to move and shoot but my elephant can do absolutely nothing. Why?

I'm thinking the Elephant had been in pursuit mode, the Bowmen had not being the difference?

The "end of the last turn" is in fact the beginning of this turn in terms of game sequence. So if your elephants were the ones that routed the enemy, they have already fought this turn, and hence cannot move.

If the archers' combat had not yet been resolved when the enemy broke, they would not get flagged as having fought this turn, so will be able to move etc.

It is an undocumented feature rather than a bug.

Thanks, Richard: that's actually a really good feature to be aware of and take into account.
