I had a plan this time... and it worked!!!

Hi All,

I'll post a longer AAR when I have time at the end of the week, but I just wanted to say that I had a battle plan in my last game. Amazingly, I actually envisioned what I was going to do, and it worked!

Interestingly enough, it ALMOST went pear shaped when my worthy opponent charged my skirmishers (who evaded) with some MF and some other Skirmishers. The Skirmishers were caugt in the rear with by the enemy skirmishers. I then went on to win this battle, and the subsequent battle with the Medium Foot killing a General in the process.

All in all a good game - one of my most enjoyable games (not hampered by the fact that I won).

Oh, I'm still all for "Tactics and Strategy - totally over-rated" (which has an alternative title "Don't plan, just roll 6's") when "Plan" goes pear shaped.
