I was reading a couple of papers about the ratio 'numbers of field guns per men' and about the kinds of gun calibres that were used on the battlefield during the 16th and 17th centuries.

Then I realised that the number of guns per P&S artillery unit was not a figure I knew of/was not sure of.

(btw another interesting question would be the differences in performances, training, making, technologies etc. between the artillery of early 16th century and late 17th century one.)
